How it works

Start with the numbers you already have.

01 / List your debts

Credit cards, loans, and minimums in one place.

Add a balance, APR, and minimum payment for each account. The planner totals what is due now before showing a path forward.

02 / Compare paths

Snowball or Avalanche.

See the payoff order, estimated debt-free date, and estimated total interest for both approaches.

03 / Make room for life

Plan the next surprise expense.

Set simple targets for car repairs, home repairs, medical costs, and annual bills—so a predictable cost has a place to land.

For the unexpected

Debt payoff works better when the next expense is not a surprise.

FAQ

Plain answers before you start.

Is this financial advice?

No. DebtPay Plan is a planning tool that shows estimates using the numbers you enter. It does not recommend a loan, credit product, or a decision for your household.

How are payoff dates and interest estimated?

The planner estimates monthly interest from the APR you enter, applies every listed minimum payment, and sends any remaining payment to debts in Snowball or Avalanche order. Rates, fees, promotional terms, and payment rules can change actual results.

What is the difference between Snowball and Avalanche?

Snowball puts additional payment toward the smallest balance first. Avalanche puts it toward the highest APR first. The planner shows both so you can choose the approach you are more likely to stick with.

Do I need an account?

No. The debt payoff planner works without a login. Your entries stay in this browser and are not submitted by the planner.
